There may be a great fire in our hearts, yet no one ever comes to warm himself at it, and the passers-by see only a wisp of smoke.

I'm sure anyone that has been to this site sees the fire you have for art! In light of these financial times, can you comment on the financial commitment to persuing art as a hobby/profession? Are there bargains out there for quality supplies?
Hi Rocco, Thanks for checking out my blog, I’m still in the learning phase of my art journey and have yet to sell my work for profit. So up until now it’s been all spend ,spend , spend ! But with hard work and a little research I’ve learned to get a lot of bang for my art buck. I’ll start out with art classes, Check out your local art galleries, art supply stores, art guilds and collages because they offer the best value for the money, there classes are usually small and you can get more one on one time with the teachers. To supplement art classes I find art blogs, artist forums and U-Tube instructional videos very helpful. Now on to art supplies ASW has some good deals and all shipping costs are $6.95 and it’s usually 20% off on orders over $125.00. So when I order I usually stock up on supplies that I know I’ll need . If you check out my blog you can see how I built my own easel and work station. It’s really not that hard to do, most handy people can pull it off and save a ton of cash. I Hope that helped you out Rocco Good luck and thanks again for checking out my blog.
